Introduction

     Simon Mckay, from Red Earth Cree Nation, Saskatchewan; Fluent in both Cree and English languages. Simon started getting into art at an early age, as growing up he entered numerous contests.

     While living on and off-reserve, he was influenced in the urban scene, he began to join the hip hop movement for music, dance, graffiti, and lyricism.

     After studying about graphic design, photography and video design, he got back to his native tradition roots.  Through his art career he has sold paintings to clients all over Canada including apparel.
